ACER BUILD 3D SCREEN FOR LAPTOP

Acer are set to release a laptop featuring a 3D screen this autumn. Designed to ride a recent surge in movies and TV shows filmed in 3D, the 15.6in laptop will feature built-in software that can correctly display 3D movies or convert 2D movies into 3D.
Users of Acer's laptop will need to wear stereoscopic glasses for the 3D to take effect, although with future models this won't be necessary. The laptop will ship with Windows 7 at the end of October.

Consumer electronics companies such as Mitsubishi, Samsung and LG are also building TVs with 3D screens for use with nVidia 3D hardeware. So expect 3D to be a standard soon in home entertainment.
